"You can regain your youthful vitality and reach your optimal wellness!”
Are you constantly tired, frequently waking up at night, lacking energy to exercise, struggling with poor concentration and mental fogginess, battling regular mood swings, and no longer able to control your weight? Did your doctor want to prescribe an antidepressant in spite of not having found the problem? Maybe instead of being “depressed” you are suffering from a hormonal imbalance?
Hormonal imbalances are often the culprit of stubborn body fat storage and other health concerns such as poor sleep, low energy, mood swings, impaired cognitive function, and more. I emphasize the importance of addressing these imbalances to improve body composition and wellbeing. Whether it is hyper-/hypo-thryroidism, insulin resistance, cortisol curve dysregulation, estrogen dominance or testosterone insufficiency, my breath of knowledge and clinical experience will guide me in designing the best nutrition and supplement protocol for each person's situation.
“You don't have to get dragged by the surf... Regain your energy to be in control of the waves!”
If you feel tired upon awakening, are lethargic mid-morning and mid-afternoon but experience a surge of energy in the evening, struggle with mental fogginess, have cravings for salty foods, and wake up frequently in the early morning hours, you might be suffering with what is now known as adrenal fatigue.
The most obvious cause of hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis dysregulation, or commonly referred as adrenal fatigue, is stress. In a biological context, stress is a physical, mental, or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension. Stress can be external, e.g., the environment or social situations, or internal, e.g., illness, inflammation, psychological issues, or negative thoughts. Common contemporary sources of stress are poor diet, gut issues, insufficient sleep, overtraining, and mindset. The list of common symptoms of adrenal fatigue is exhaustive!?
Given my own life experience, I developed an expertise in adrenal fatigue. I help patients to change the lifestyle habits that led them to their current state, as well as focusing on the proper diet and supplements to help with adrenal fatigue recovery.
